How were all medical and conventional remedies exhausted before the family sought help from Sai Baba for the boy's bone-cyst?

📖 Chapter 34

As detailed in Chapter 34, the boy's ailment, a bone-cyst, was considered a most difficult and extraordinary malady. His uncle was a degree-holding doctor, yet he and his circle of expert and intelligent surgeons became exhausted and felt helpless. The text explicitly states that all efforts were exhausted after trying both native and foreign treatments. Even a surgical intervention was attempted, but nothing succeeded in alleviating the young boy's suffering. It was only after these remedies reached their absolute limit and the disease did not subside in the least that the relatives, in desperation, heard about and decided to seek the help of the great saint of Shirdi, Sai Maharaj.
