The visual splendor of the procession is highlighted in Chapter 37. The path was adorned with arches, 'toranas' or garlands, and high-flying flags at the crossroads. Many rows of lamps were lit in the vicinity of the Masjid. The horse, Shyamakarna, was described as resplendent and fully decorated with ornaments. Sai Baba Himself, after being clad in His usual kafni, would have a beautiful golden-bordered shawl placed over Him by Tatya Patil. This created a scene of festive and reverent grandeur for all the devotees to witness.
How was the procession route and the main participants decorated for the journey to the Chavadi?
