How was the issue of the donation for the temple dome ultimately resolved between the husband and wife?

The conflict was resolved through the husband's cunning and the wife's loving faith. After the wife resolved to use her personal ornaments for the donation, her agitated husband devised a scheme. As described in Chapter 47, he offered to 'buy' her ornaments for one thousand, but instead of giving her money, he transferred a piece of his worthless, barren marshy land into her name. He then cynically told her to donate this unproductive land to God to satisfy her vision. Accepting her husband's word, the devout wife, unaware of the land's true nature or her husband's deceit, offered the land with love to please Shankara.
