Once the food in the Handi was fully cooked, Sai Baba followed a specific process for its distribution. As described in Chapter 38, he would first bring the pot down from the hearth and into the Masjid. He then had a Maulvi formally offer the 'Fatya,' a consecration prayer. After the consecration, the very first portions of the blessed food, or 'Prasad,' were sent to his devotees Mhalasapati and Tatya. Following this, Baba would personally serve all the remaining food with his own hands, finding great joy and contentment in satisfying the poor and the weak. He would lovingly insist that people take more, ensuring everyone ate to their full satisfaction (Chapter 38, verses 42-45).
How was the food from the Handi distributed after Baba finished cooking?
