How was the construction of the Buti wada initiated, and what was Shama's role in getting Baba's permission?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 39

The construction of the Buti wada, which later became the Samadhi Mandir, was initiated after Bapusaheb Buti conceived the plan but required Sai Baba's permission. As described in Chapter 39, Madhavrao Deshpande, also known as Shama, acted as the intermediary. Shama approached Sai Baba and presented Buti's plan to build a temple and mansion with a central courtyard and a throne for Murlidhar. Upon hearing the plan from Shama, Baba joyfully gave his consent. Shama then asked if they should fix the auspicious time for the foundation and break a coconut. Baba confirmed, "Break it, break it!", and a coconut was immediately broken, officially marking the start of the project.
