How was the Chavadi procession initiated and what were the festive arrangements made for it?

📖 Chapter 37

The initiation of the Chavadi procession was a grand and festive affair. As Chapter 37 describes, the moment Sai Baba started to go, a celebration would erupt. Musical instruments, including horns and trumpets, would begin to play. The path was illuminated with fireworks like 'Nale' and 'Chandrajyoti', and torches shone brightly on all sides. The surroundings of the Masjid were decorated with rows of lamps, and arches and garlands were placed at the crossroads. Flags fluttered high, and even Baba's horse, Shyamakarna, stood decorated at the gate. Mace-bearers stood at the door shouting slogans of victory, creating a vibrant and celebratory start to the procession.
