How was Sai Baba received and adorned once he arrived at the Chavadi during the procession?

Upon arriving at the Chavadi, Sai Baba would be received with great honor and reverence. Chapter 51 explains that after stopping to face north and performing ritual hand movements, Baba would be seated in the Chavadi. Devotees would then lovingly adorn him. His body was anointed with sandalwood, and he was offered beautiful attire and ornaments, including a golden crown, a crest, or a plume. Garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds were placed around his neck, and a fragrant mark of musk was applied to his forehead. Some would wash his feet and offer worship, demonstrating their profound devotion.
