How was Sai Baba adorned and what were his actions upon arriving at the Chavadi during the procession?

📖 Chapter 51

Upon reaching the Chavadi, Sai Baba's presence and the subsequent rituals were the climax of the procession. Chapter 51 describes how Baba would first stop and face north, performing ritualistic hand movements as if calling to someone. His face, illuminated by lanterns, would shine like gold mixed with copper. Once seated in the Chavadi, devotees would lovingly adorn him. As Chapter 51 details, they would place various ornaments on him, such as a crest, a plume, or a beautiful golden crown, and dress him in a gold-embroidered outfit. Garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds were placed around his neck, a musk mark was applied to his forehead, and his feet were worshipped, demonstrating the deep reverence and love his followers held for him.
