Laxmichand's journey towards Sai Baba began in a very mystical way, as detailed in Chapter 28 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra. While living in Santa Cruz, he had an unexpected dream of a great soul, an old sadhu with a beard surrounded by devotees, to whom he bowed. Sometime after this vision, he attended a kirtan by Dasganu. It was Dasganu's practice to display a picture of Sai Baba, and upon seeing it, Laxmichand immediately recognized the figure as the very same sadhu from his dream. This powerful confirmation sparked an intense desire within him to have a personal darshan of the saint in Shirdi.
How was Laxmichand first introduced to the idea of meeting Sai Baba?
