Although Amir was forbidden from visiting the Masjid and was confined to the Chavadi for nine months, his location ironically provided ample opportunities to see Baba. Chapter 22 details how this was possible. Baba's daily path for morning alms took Him right past the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see Him come and go. In the evenings, Baba would also come in front of the Chavadi. Furthermore, on alternate nights when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated only by a plank door and a curtain, allowing them to converse after other devotees had left.
How was Amir Shakkar able to see Sai Baba even though he was forbidden from going to the Masjid?
