How was Amir Shakkar able to see Sai Baba even though he was forbidden from visiting the Masjid during his nine-month stay in the Chavadi?

📖 Chapter 22

Although Amir Shakkar was forbidden from going to the Masjid for a vision, his assigned residence in the Chavadi ironically provided him with frequent opportunities to see Sai Baba. Chapter 22 explains that Baba's daily routine brought him directly past the Chavadi. Amir could get an easy vision every morning as Baba went for and returned from his alms round. Furthermore, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions. Most importantly, on alternate nights, Baba would actually stay in the Chavadi, separated from Amir by only a nominal curtain, allowing them to talk with calm minds after the devotees had left.
