How was Amir Shakkar able to get Sai Baba's darshan while he was confined to the Chavadi?

Even though Amir was forbidden from visiting the Masjid, the location of the Chavadi allowed him to receive Sai Baba's darshan automatically and without effort. Chapter 22 details how this was possible. Baba's daily morning route for alms took him right past the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see him come and go. In the evenings, Baba would stand in front of the Chavadi and salute all directions. Furthermore, on alternate nights when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated by only a nominal curtain and would talk with calm minds after the other devotees had left.
