How should a devotee's relationship with their Guru be, according to the teachings in Chapter 45?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 45

The text describes the ideal relationship using the metaphor of a chaste and devoted wife (Pativrata) and her husband. As detailed in Chapter 45, just as a devoted wife's love for her husband is boundless and he is her only lifelong support, a disciple should feel the same singular love toward the Guru's feet. This love is so focused that she never considers another man as her husband. In the same way, a disciple's devotion should be exclusive and unwavering, viewing the Guru as the ultimate spiritual support, unlike worldly relations which are deemed less reliable for this purpose.
