Chapter 10 explains that through Satsang, the body-ego is destroyed, the cycle of birth and death is cut off, and one meets the 'Mass of Consciousness.' Its power is so profound that even holy rivers like the Ganga and Godavari are said to desire the feet of saints to wash away the accumulated sins they carry from the world. The ultimate purpose of saints, as great souls, is to incarnate to help even those without faith become devoted to their own Self.
