How personally involved was Baba in the cooking process at the Masjid?

Sai Baba was deeply and personally involved in every stage of the cooking process. As described in Chapter 38, he would personally go to the grocer to buy all the ingredients, paying in cash on the spot. He would then sit in the Masjid and grind wheat, pulses, millet, and spices with his own hands using a grinding stone. Baba performed this labor tirelessly and with great devotion, even managing the fire in the hearth himself to ensure the food was cooked perfectly. His involvement extended from procurement to preparation, cooking, and finally, serving.
