Amir Shakkar's stay in the Chavadi was ordained for a period of nine months. Chapter 22 explains that during this extended time, a significant restriction was placed on him: he was forbidden from even going to the Masjid for Baba's darshan (vision). This must have been a considerable hardship, as seeing Baba was a cherished activity for all devotees. Despite this prohibition and the miserable physical conditions of the Chavadi, Amir's faith remained firm, and he complied with Baba's instructions completely.
How long was Amir Shakkar required to stay in the Chavadi, and were there any restrictions placed upon him?
