How is the 'supreme state' of Brahman described, and what role do the mind and intellect play in attaining it?

📖 Chapter 17

Chapter 17 describes the supreme state, the changeless Brahman, as a condition where the interior is turned back toward the Self. This state is reached when the five senses of knowledge abandon their objects, the mind renounces thoughts and doubts, and the intellect gives up its function of deciding. When the intellect becomes free of decision-making and the heart attains consciousness, one will know oneself as blessed. This profound state is where true happiness reveals itself, though the knowledge is very subtle and deep to grasp.
