How is Sai Baba's nature described in relation to His ability to travel, and why did the devotee Dev believe Baba could visit him in Dahanu?

📖 Chapter 40

Sai Baba's state is described as inscrutable, and it is said that He pervades all things, both moving and unmoving. As chapter 40 explains, concepts like "coming" and "going" are considered mere worldly talk for Him because He is perfectly full, inside and out, similar to how space is omnipresent. Despite Baba's permanent residence being in Shirdi, from which He only occasionally visited three nearby villages, the devotee Dev had full faith that Baba would come to him in faraway Dahanu. This belief was founded on the understanding that Baba is a "Leelavatari," a complete master of miracles, who can move freely and manifest anywhere simply by His will.
