How is Sai Baba's compassionate nature and His connection to devotees' inner states described at the start of Chapter 30?

📖 Chapter 30

The beginning of Chapter 30 portrays Sai Baba as the "abode of mercy" (Karuṇālaya) and an "ocean of compassion." His very darshan is said to dispel the devotee's fear of worldly existence. The chapter emphasizes His deep, personal connection to his followers by stating, "Sai Nath knows completely the heart's desires of His own devotees. He alone is capable of fulfilling them." This omniscience and capability lead His devotees to fulfillment. This compassionate nature is further highlighted by the assurance that Sai does not forsake His followers, even if they are abandoned by everyone else (Chapter 30).
