How is 'heaven' described, and why might it be considered undesirable compared to devotion?

📖 Chapter 37

Heaven is depicted as a divine state free from the causes of suffering, such as disease, worry, illness, sorrow, hunger, thirst, or the fear of old age and death. Chapter 37 states that in this heavenly world, the soul moves about completely fearless. Despite this idyllic description, the text questions the pursuit of heaven, labeling it merely a place for sensual enjoyment. It argues that a place lacking the remembrance of Lord Narayana or the chanting of Govinda's name is not truly needed, implying devotion is superior to heavenly pleasures.
