After describing Hemadpant as a 'jewel among poets,' the successor author expresses his own inadequacy, calling his intellect 'dull.' He resolves this by completely surrendering to a higher power. As explained in the chapter, he prays for the Guru's grace, stating that he has no strength to compose poetry. Ultimately, he attributes the entire act of writing to Sai Baba, declaring that 'Sai, the breaker of obstacles (Vakratunda), will be the one to write this summary.
