How does the text distinguish between the pure Brahman and the 'qualified' Brahman, and what is the path to realizing the former?

πŸ“– Chapter 50

The text in Chapter 50 makes a clear distinction between two aspects of Brahman. There is the target Brahman, which is described as 'extremely pure and clean' and 'purely the form of Consciousness (Chinmatra)'. This pure form is entirely different from the 'qualified' (shabal) Brahman. The latter became qualified because it was influenced by Avidya (ignorance), which made it expressible as 'Sat' (Existence) and 'graspable by the intellect'. To realize the pure Brahman, one must move aside the 'veils of ignorance'. The path to do this is through the 'power of instruction' and achieving the 'knowledge of the unity of Brahman and the Soul.' When this unity is known, ignorance is dispelled, leading to liberation.
