How does the study of a Guru's biography function as both a personal act of service and a broader public or community service?

📖 Chapter 0

Chapter 0 explains this dual nature of service through sacred texts. When a devotee writes a detailed biography, they perform a personal act of Guru service. This service then extends to the public when other devotees study and perform Parayans of that work. In doing so, the writer gains the merit of serving God in humanity (Jan-Janardan) and performing public service. Simultaneously, the other devotees in the community who engage with the text are able to achieve the purpose of their lives. This creates a virtuous cycle where personal devotion inspires a communal practice that benefits all involved, strengthening the bonds of the spiritual community.
