How does the story of Dharamsee's grapes show that Sai Baba knew people's inner thoughts?

📖 Chapter 35

This story from Chapter 35 is a powerful illustration of Sai Baba's omniscience. Baba's actions were a direct response to Dharamsee's unspoken thoughts and feelings. When Dharamsee silently questioned Baba's sainthood because he was being given grapes he disliked, Baba's response was to give him even more. Baba was aware of Dharamsee's aversion to seeded and unwashed grapes. The climax of this demonstration was when Baba commanded him to eat, and the grapes turned out to be seedless. Dharamsee himself realized this, thinking, "Knowing the intent of my mind, although they were with seeds and unwashed, Whatever Sai gives me, they turn out to be seedless and beneficial." The miracle was tailored specifically to address his internal doubt.
