How does the story of Cholkar demonstrate Sai Baba's teaching that He is always with His devotees?

📖 Chapter 15

The story of Cholkar serves as a powerful illustration of Sai Baba's omnipresence. Baba demonstrated that He was intimately aware of Cholkar's private vow to abstain from sugar, the reasons for it, and the long delay he endured. Chapter 15 highlights this when Baba says, "The state of your mind at the time of the vow, and the penance of the long delay— Though you kept these secret, all of it is known to me." This proves His teaching that physical distance is no barrier to His knowledge and presence. He assured Cholkar, and by extension all devotees, "Wherever you may be, if you spread your hands before me with faith, I am standing right there with your faith, day and night."
