How does the source material differentiate between birth and death for a normal person versus an enlightened being?

📖 Chapter 43

Chapter 43 presents a distinct duality. For an ordinary person, birth is defined as the 'union of body and senses,' and death is their inevitable 'separation.' However, for enlightened beings or avatars who incarnate for the 'welfare of devotees,' this cycle is irrelevant. The text states that for Sai Samarth, who is a 'mass of bliss' and devoid of bodily impulses, concepts of birth and death do not apply as they are 'false imaginations.' His existence is not bound by the physical form. While death is the nature of the body for all, an enlightened soul like Sai has already conquered it, metaphorically placing their 'feet on the head of Time' and having no fear of death.
