How does the Shri Sai Satcharitra describe Sai Baba's personal state and his interactions with others?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra portrays Sai Baba's state as profoundly unpredictable and marvelous. He is described as sometimes being intoxicated with Brahmananda (the bliss of the Self) and at other times being completely detached while performing actions. Even when appearing inactive, he was always alert and fixed on Self-realization. His actions were so incomprehensible that those trying to find their cause would end up sitting in amazement. In his interactions, he held brotherhood with men and treated all women as his sisters or mothers, being known to all as a lifelong celibate.
