How does the Shri Sai Satcharitra describe Sai Baba's personality and state of being?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 portrays Shri Sai's nature as profoundly blessed yet incomprehensible and difficult to fathom, much like a deep ocean. His state was unpredictable and beyond ordinary understanding. The text describes Him as sometimes being intoxicated with the bliss of the Self (Brahmananda), sometimes completely satisfied with Self-knowledge, and at other times performing actions while remaining entirely detached. Though He might appear inactive, He was always internally alert, with His mind fixed on Self-realization. This constant, unpredictable shifting between states, coupled with His profound actions, is why the Satcharitra notes that those who try to analyze Him eventually give up and sit in quiet amazement at His marvelous and indescribable form.
