How does the scripture describe the relationship that divine incarnations and great saints have with birth and death?

📖 Chapter 43

The scripture explains a fundamental difference in how birth and death apply to ordinary people versus divine beings. As Chapter 43 clarifies, for those who incarnate by their own will for the welfare of devotees, birth and death are considered "false imaginations." These avatars are not touched by the cycle that binds others. Death is described as a characteristic of the soul's nature, but these beings have placed their "feet on the head of Time." Sai Baba, as the "complete Supreme Brahman," is devoid of bodily impulses. For him, the world is an illusion and he lacks body consciousness, making the concepts of being born or dying entirely inapplicable to his true nature.
