How does the scripture describe Sai Baba's relationship with his physical body and the concept of death?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 43

Chapter 43 provides a deep philosophical perspective on this topic. It posits that for an enlightened being like Sai Baba, the body is merely an adjunct. Death is described as a natural characteristic of the body, but for saints, it is like dust before them. Sai Baba is depicted as the complete Supreme Brahman, for whom the consciousness of the body is an illusion. He is devoid of bodily impulses, and even physical illnesses due to past karma would not be felt by him. He could die at will, and his departure was not a death but a conscious act of merging himself into the unmanifest through the fire of Yoga for the salvation of his devotees.
