How does the concept of ignorance (Avidya) relate to the fear of birth and death in Sai's philosophy?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 37

In Chapter 37, ignorance, or Avidya, is identified as the root cause of all suffering because it establishes the perception of manifoldness and duality. This obsession with duality is precisely where fear enters one's life. The text explains that ignorance leads to the bonds of worldly attachments and constant worry, creating a cycle of suffering. To counter this, one must acquire knowledge (Vidya) through the scriptures and the Guru. When ignorance is removed, the perception of difference vanishes, and as a result, the cycle of birth and death ceases for that individual. The science of oneness is presented as the ultimate remedy for this fear.
