How does the act of studying a Guru's biography benefit both the individual devotee and the broader community?

The study of a Guru's biography creates a symbiotic benefit for the individual and the community. As detailed in Chapter 0, by studying and performing Parayans of a poetic Guru biography, an individual performs Guru service. At the same time, when other devotees in the community also engage in this study, the original writer or promoter gains the merit of serving God in humanity (Jan-Janardan) and public service. Furthermore, those other devotees are also guided toward achieving the purpose of their lives, strengthening the spiritual fabric of the entire community.
