How does one transcend the worldly illusion and what is the state of a person who has achieved this?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 17

To transcend the worldly inclination, which is described as the ignorant tendency of the soul (Samsara-pravrutti), one must gain knowledge of the Self. Chapter 17 explains that this knowledge leads to the cessation of the world (Nivrutti). A person who attains this state, the Knower of the Self, is devoid of ego and operates beyond the dualities of dharma and adharma, or good and bad. In this state of Nivrutti, distinctions like 'enemy' and 'friend' dissolve because the individual sees only their own Self everywhere. When the ego dissolves, this state of the Supreme Self is instantly established.
