How does one overcome the ego and the pride of being the 'doer' according to Sai Baba's teachings?

Chapter 27 explains that the individual soul, or Jiva, with ego knows very little, whereas the egoless Shiva is all-knowing. To overcome the pride of being the doer, one must surrender the mind, which is subject to thoughts and doubts, at Sai's feet. You should also surrender all power of action to Sai and then act as he commands. By knowing that everything is Sai's power and placing the burden on him, you can work without ego and achieve perfect success, ultimately enjoying egoless self-bliss.
