How does one overcome the delusion caused by Desire and Anger to attain self-knowledge?

According to the teachings in Chapter 50, attaining the supreme truth of self-knowledge requires a specific approach. The text explains that Desire and Anger act as a covering over knowledge, similar to a black cobra guarding a treasure. To access this treasure, one must remove the veil of Nature (Prakriti). Baba states that the primary means for achieving this is to first control the senses. By bringing the senses under control, one can effectively destroy the power of Desire and Anger. This process clears away the ignorance that covers knowledge, allowing the soul to be realized.
