How does Hemadpant describe his role as the narrator in relation to Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 47

In Chapter 47, Hemadpant humbly describes his role as being secondary to Sai Baba's own power and presence. He states that Sai is the 'eye of the eyes and the ear of the ears,' and that it was Sai himself who entered his heart to narrate the account. He goes as far as to say that 'Sai Samarth himself is the story, the speaker, and the face,' reducing his own name, Hemad, to 'merely a nickname.' He also expresses that he is as empty as the listeners if he does not grasp the distilled essence of the stories, reinforcing the idea that Sai is the true source and speaker.
