How does Chapter 52 use analogies to explain the concept of non-duality, or the devotee merging with the divine?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 52

Chapter 52 beautifully illustrates the principle of non-duality through several powerful analogies. It explains that when a devotee takes refuge at Sai's feet, any sense of separation vanishes. This is compared to a river entering the ocean and forgetting its 'river-ness' to become the ocean itself. Another analogy used is that of two lamps embracing, where the duality vanishes and there is only one unified light. The chapter further asks rhetorically if scent can be separate from camphor or luster from gold. Just as salt entering the ocean instantly becomes one with it, a devotee who relinquishes their 'I-ness' becomes equal with Sai, achieving a state of complete unity.
