How does Chapter 47 describe the law of Karma and the process of rebirth?

📖 Chapter 47

Chapter 47 explains that the law of Karma is very deep and difficult for anyone to fully comprehend, noting that even the highly learned can be deceived by it. The chapter posits that one's future birth is a direct consequence of their actions and state of consciousness in their current life. As stated within Chapter 47, committing sins can lead to a death and subsequent rebirth that corresponds exactly to one's actions. The text mentions, "Births happen according to one's wisdom (consciousness)," and that foolish beings receive a body exactly like what they have earned. Therefore, it advises that a truly wise person is one who does not waste the opportunity of human birth before attaining self-knowledge.
