How does Chapter 37 explain the cause of the cycle of birth and death (Samsara) and what does it identify as the 'nooses of death'?

📖 Chapter 37

In Chapter 37, the perpetual cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, is attributed to a fundamental ignorance or delusion. The text states that a person who holds the belief, "Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that," creates a sense of separation that subjects them to the endless cycle of death followed by rebirth. This delusion is the root cause. The chapter further elaborates on this by identifying what it calls the 'nooses of death'. These are not external forces but internal states: Adharma (unrighteousness), ignorance, anger, and hatred. According to the teachings in Chapter 37, successfully overcoming these internal nooses is the key to transcending the cycle and entering a true heavenly state of being.
