How does Chapter 34 describe the family's plea to Sai Baba and his compassionate response?

📖 Chapter 34

Chapter 34 vividly portrays the family's desperation and Sai Baba's reassuring nature. Upon reaching Shirdi, the parents immediately took Baba’s darshan and prostrated at his feet. With choked voices, folded hands, and pitiful faces, they narrated the child's intense suffering and their own exhaustion, pleading for Sai to place his protective hand on their son. They explained they had come seeking refuge with total devotion. In response, Sai, described as the embodiment of compassion, reassured them completely. He told them to be worry-free and gave them his Udi, instructing them to smear it on the wound, promising that those who seek shelter in his Masjid will never face downfall.
