How does Chapter 23 describe the human condition of delusion and the prescribed path to escape it?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 23

Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra explains that the soul, which is in reality beyond the three gunas and is of the nature of Existence-Consciousness-Bliss (Sacchidananda), becomes deluded by Maya. This delusion causes it to forget its true nature and identify with the body, leading to the prideful thought, "I am the doer, I am the enjoyer." As a result, the soul becomes distressed by a series of calamities. According to this chapter, the definitive way to calm these calamities and escape this cycle is through loving devotion (Bhakti Yoga) at the feet of the Guru. This path is presented as the only way out of the suffering caused by such delusion.
