How does Chapter 23 describe Sai Baba's own perspective on His divinity and His behavior towards others?

📖 Chapter 23

Chapter 23 provides a nuanced view of Sai Baba's divinity. While devotees considered Him an Incarnation (Avatar) because He showed all the signs, Baba Himself maintained a humble stance. According to this chapter, He would say, "I am a humble servant in the court of Allah" and constantly chanted phrases like "Allah Malik" (God is the Master). He never claimed "Anal Haq" (I am God). Despite His divine status, He displayed perfect human conduct, practiced religious duties, and never disregarded anyone. As Chapter 23 explains, He saw the Almighty in all beings, moving and unmoving, and in every living being, He saw Narayana, the condensed form of Consciousness.
