How does Chapter 19 explain the paradoxical relationship between the body and the Soul?

📖 Chapter 19

In Chapter 19, the relationship between the Soul (Atma) and the body is presented as a supreme and unavoidable exception to the rule that friendship exists only between those of similar nature. The text highlights their inherent difference: the body is perishable, while the Soul is changeless and imperishable. Despite this, their affection is described as extraordinary, with one unable to bear being without the other. It is this profound love and attachment between the different natures of the body and Soul that is said to perpetuate the cycle of worldly existence, also known as Samsara.
