How does Chapter 10 describe Sai Baba's sleeping arrangements and the mystery surrounding them?

📖 Chapter 10

Chapter 10 provides a fascinating account of Sai Baba's sleeping habits. He would sleep on a very narrow wooden plank, described as being only four cubits long and a mere span (about nine inches) wide. This plank was suspended from the rafters of the mosque like a swing, tied at both ends with old rags. What made this remarkable, as noted in the chapter, was the seeming impossibility of the plank supporting his weight with such flimsy ties. Furthermore, his movements were completely imperceptible; no one ever saw when he climbed onto the plank or when he descended from it. He would sleep peacefully on this precarious perch, often with lamps burning at his head and feet, showcasing a life that operated beyond ordinary physical laws.
