How does a Sadguru receive service from devotees through literary works?

A Sadguru takes two primary forms of service from devotees through books. As mentioned in Chapter 0, the first is when the Sadguru themselves create monumental works like the Shri Dnyaneshwari. The second, more common method, is when the Sadguru has their biographies written by their devotees. The Guru then accepts service in the form of study and devotional readings, known as Parayans, from both the writer and the wider community of devotees. This process allows many to participate in the service and achieve the purpose of their lives.
