The process began when Sai Baba, feeling compassion, granted permission to create a collection of His stories and experiences. As detailed in Chapter 2, Baba provided immense encouragement, stating, "My full help is with it." He revealed that the author was merely a pretext and that He Himself would write His own story to fulfill the devotee's wish. Baba's condition was that the author must dissolve his ego and surrender it at His feet. In doing so, Baba promised to enter with 'I-ness' and write with His own hand, ensuring the work would be accomplished by the One to whom it truly belongs.
