How did the story of the old woman impact the narrator, and what was Baba's subsequent spiritual guidance?

📖 Chapter 19

The impact on the narrator was profound. He told Baba, "after hearing this story, I have found my true rest; the yearning of my mind is gone, and I have certainly understood the path." In response to this, as recorded in Chapter 19, Baba affirmed the uniqueness of his ways and offered direct spiritual guidance. He explained that true knowledge of the Soul requires meditation (Dhyana), which is the practice of the Self that brings peace. Baba advised becoming free from all desires and meditating on the divine who resides in all beings to attain what is meant to be attained.
