How did the routine of visiting the Chavadi evolve over time?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 37

The practice of visiting the Chavadi had a clear evolution. Initially, Sai Baba established a strict routine of sleeping at the Chavadi every other day, alternating with His nights at the Masjid. Chapter 37 states that this sequence continued without interruption until His Samadhi. The nature of the event became more formalized later. Specifically, from December 10, 1910, the visits transformed into a larger celebration. On these nights, formal worship, bhajan, and adoration of Sai began to take place in the Chavadi, turning a simple sleeping arrangement into a significant recurring festival for devotees.
