How did the Ram Navami celebration become a permanent annual festival in Shirdi?

The performance by Balabuva Satarkar was a pivotal event, but the festival's permanent establishment came shortly after. Following Satarkar's successful and well-received Kirtan, for which he was generously compensated, another devotee took the final step. As described in Chapter 6, the devotee Dasganu later came to Shirdi and prayed to Sai Baba to have the annual festival formally established. From that point on, the Ram Navami birth festival was celebrated in Shirdi with great pomp and a feast for all, becoming a cherished annual tradition.
