How did the person we know as Sai Baba receive that name?

📖 Chapter 0

According to the account in Chapter 0, when Maharaj first arrived in Shirdi and entered the Khandoba temple, a resident goldsmith named Mhalasapati greeted him with the words "Aavo Sai Baba," which means "Come, Sai Baba." Maharaj held onto this name for the rest of his life. The text further clarifies that when his testimony was once taken in a commission and he was asked his name, he simply replied, "They call me Sai Baba." This name, given spontaneously by a devotee, became his identity for all his followers.
